About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The HTEM300 project aims to establish a 300-megawatt annual manufacturing facility for high-temperature Solid Oxide Electrolysis (SOE) stack modules in Germany, with scalability to multi-gigawatt production. It introduces advanced semi-automated assembly, quality control, and logistics for high yields and efficiency 20-30% superior to PEM electrolysers, targeting hard-to-abate sectors like steel and fertiliser. The project will avoid a cumulative 3.7 million tonnes of CO2e by enabling renewable hydrogen replacement of fossil fuels, create over 100 jobs, and support Europe's clean hydrogen strategy.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
