About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The HIPPOW project involves the installation, operation, and testing of the world's most powerful offshore wind turbine prototype at the Østerild Test Centre in Denmark. It validates innovative technologies in nominal power, bearings, electrical systems, installation processes, cooling, and maintenance, achieving 99.93% relative GHG emission avoidance compared to conventional generation. The prototype generates enough clean energy annually to power around 7,000 average Danish households, contributing to Europe's decarbonization goals.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
