About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
HiiROC is developing a 150,000-tonnes-per-year clean methanol plant in Scotland using its proprietary Thermal Plasma Electrolysis technology to produce turquoise hydrogen from methane via pyrolysis, avoiding CO2 emissions in hydrogen production. The project integrates with a waste-to-energy facility to capture CO2 for methanol synthesis, aiming to provide low-carbon e-methanol as an alternative fuel for maritime and chemical applications. This initiative supports decarbonization in the chemicals and plastics sector.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
