About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Statkraft's H2HubEmden project aims to produce renewable hydrogen and district heat on a large scale using a 200 MW electrolysis plant combined with a 50 MW thermal heat pump system at its Emden power plant site. It will yield up to 20,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually for distribution via the European hydrogen pipeline network and up to 250,000 MWh of district heat for local customers. The project is expected to avoid approximately 370,000 metric tons of CO2e per year, contributing to decarbonization in hard-to-abate sectors and sector coupling.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
