About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The HYODE project develops innovative solutions for offshore renewable hydrogen production using a 30 MW PEM electrolyser powered by offshore wind off Dunkirk, France, including subsea storage and sea transport to industrial offtakers. It will produce 46,189 tons of green hydrogen over its first ten years, avoiding 315,930 tons of CO2 emissions compared to fossil-based production. The pilot bridges small-scale demonstrations and utility-scale projects, fostering a European offshore hydrogen value chain.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">21</argument></grok:render>
