About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The HydrOxy Hub Walsum project aims to develop, build, and operate a 157.2 MW PEM electrolyser in Duisburg-Walsum, Germany, producing 16 kt of renewable hydrogen per year from North Sea wind power. It integrates 25 MW battery storage for stable operation and uses off-heat for district heating, supplying hydrogen to steel, shipping, and mobility sectors. The project expects to avoid nearly 1.3 million tonnes CO2e over the first 10 years of operation.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
