About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

HyEx is a collaborative project between Enaex and Engie aimed at producing green ammonia in Chile's Mejillones district using renewable solar energy to replace grey ammonia imports. The pilot phase involves a 26 MW electrolysis plant to produce 18,000 metric tons of green ammonia annually, targeted for operation by 2025. The full-scale phase plans for a 2.8 GW electrolysis plant producing 700,000 metric tons per year by 2030, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of the mining industry.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
