About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Karamay Xinjiang Dunhua methanol plant features a CO2 capture project that sequesters 0.1 million tons of CO2 annually using pressure swing adsorption (PSA) on relaxation gas from methanol production. Commissioned in 2016, the captured CO2 is utilized for enhanced oil recovery in the Karamay oilfield, achieving a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 8 for the complete carbon capture and storage (CCS) chain.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
