About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Karamay Xinjiang Dunhua methanol plant features a 0.1 Mt CO2/yr capture project utilizing pressure swing adsorption (PSA) on relaxation gas from the methanol production process. Commissioned in 2016, the project captures CO2 for enhanced oil recovery in the Karamay oilfield, achieving a full carbon capture and storage (CCS) chain at technology readiness level (TRL) 8. It represents a key demonstration of CCUS technology in China's chemicals sector.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
