About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The LARS project builds Europe's first large-scale integrated pre-treatment and chemical recycling plant to convert post-consumer mixed plastic waste into pyrolysis oil, a sustainable naphtha substitute for plastic production. The facility will process up to 100 kt/yr of waste to produce over 40 kt/yr of high-quality pyrolysis oil for circular polymers, achieving over 115% relative GHG reduction and 1.75 Mt CO2eq savings in the first 10 years. It supports EU recycled content mandates and creates around 100 direct and 200-300 indirect jobs.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
