About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

LEILAC-2 is a demonstration project aimed at capturing 100,000 tonnes of CO2 annually through indirect calcination technology integrated into cement production. It is being developed at Heidelberg Materials' Ennigerloh cement plant in Germany, building on the LEILAC-1 pilot in Belgium. The project, led by Leilac with partners including Heidelberg Materials, CEMEX, and others, had construction start in 2025 and is set for commissioning in mid-2026.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
