About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Liquid Sunshine Project is a demonstration initiative that integrates a 10 MW photovoltaic array with electrolyzers to produce green hydrogen from water electrolysis. This hydrogen is then combined with captured CO2 to synthesize high-purity methanol (99.5%) through a hydrogenation process, serving as a liquid solar fuel for chemical or energy applications. The project showcases a pathway to carbon-neutral fuel production by utilizing renewable energy and repurposing CO2 emissions.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
