About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The LoCaCloud Brescia project deploys a 1.8 MW distributed data center using Qarnot's patented QBx digital boiler and Qware software to recover nearly all server waste heat at up to 65°C, supplying it directly to Brescia's district heating network for 13-16 GWh annually. This innovation avoids approximately 3,500 tonnes of CO2e per year and was inaugurated in June 2025 in partnership with A2A.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">28</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">12</argument></grok:render> It demonstrates a scalable model for decarbonizing district heating while providing cost-effective high-performance cloud computing services.
