About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Loop Industries operates a pilot plant in Quebec, Canada, employing low-energy depolymerisation technology that uses low heat and no pressure to break down polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic into its monomers, monoethylene glycol (MEG) and dimethyl terephthalate (DMT). The facility, which has been running for over five years, demonstrates the company's Infinite Loop recycling process and supports technology licensing and commercialization efforts. Loop aims to expand this technology globally, with new facilities under development in India and Europe.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
