About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Louisiana Green Fuels Project is a flagship initiative by Strategic Biofuels to convert abundant forestry and wood waste into carbon-negative renewable fuels and electricity using advanced biomass gasification, Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and carbon capture technologies. Located at the Port of Columbia in Caldwell Parish, Louisiana, the project is phased: Phase One includes a 100MW BECCS power plant sequestering CO2 geologically, while Phase Two adds a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) biorefinery producing up to 32 million gallons of renewable diesel and naphtha annually. It aims to deliver durable carbon removal and support low-carbon energy solutions.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
