About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

MadoquaPower2X is developing a world-leading green hydrogen and renewable ammonia project located in the Sines Industrial and Logistics Zone, Portugal. It plans a 500 MW alkaline electrolyser to produce approximately 50,000 tonnes of RFNBO hydrogen annually, most of which will be converted to 280,000 tonnes of RFNBO ammonia, powered by dedicated 633 MW solar and 375 MW wind capacities developed in Portugal and Spain. Phase 1 is projected to avoid ~430,808 tonnes of CO2eq emissions per year.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">35</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">11</argument></grok:render>
