About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Materrup has developed Crosslinked Clay Cement, an innovative low-carbon binder using up to 70% raw, non-calcined clay, which reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 50% compared to traditional Portland cement while maintaining performance. The company's first production plant in the Landes region of France became operational in 2023 with a capacity of 50,000 tons per year. In 2024, Materrup raised €26 million to expand with 10 additional plants across Europe.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
