About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The NEXTFLOAT+ project deploys a breakthrough Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) technology revolutionizing the industry by reducing costs through a disruptive floating platform, two-bladed downwind turbine, Single-Point-Mooring system, and marine regeneration. It supplies green electricity to approximately 4,400 households in France, with a 99.59% greenhouse gas emission reduction compared to the reference scenario. The technologies reduce LCOE to €62-106/MWh by 2030 and avoid over 35,600 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions in the first ten years.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
