About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The N2OWF project constructs and operates a first-of-its-kind 435 MW offshore wind farm in the German North Sea, featuring next-generation 15 MW turbines with SF6-free switchgears, single-piece monopile foundations, and sustainable vessels powered by green methanol or batteries. It produces 1,803.6 GWh of green electricity annually, saving 3.14 Mt CO2e over the first ten years compared to reference scenarios, achieving 99% relative GHG avoidance. The project demonstrates scalable innovations, supports Europe's Green Deal, and will expand to nearby Nordseecluster sites.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
