About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
Northern Lights is a pioneering open-access CO2 transport and storage hub in Europe, developed as part of Norway's Longship CCS project. The first phase, completed in September 2024, provides a storage capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of CO2 per year, enabling industrial emitters to reduce emissions. A second phase is in advanced development to expand capacity to 5 million tonnes per annum.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
