About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The NorthSTOR+ project develops and industrializes the Voltainer, a high-energy-density Lithium-ion battery energy storage system (ESS) for stationary applications, using automotive-grade cells for superior performance, safety, and sustainability. It aims to produce approximately 6 GWh annually at full capacity by 2029, primarily in Poland, displacing carbon-intensive Asian batteries. The project is expected to avoid over 34.5 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions in its first 10 years compared to reference scenarios.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
