About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The PIVOT project optimizes manufacturing and assembly processes for an advanced offshore wind turbine, building on the HIPPOW project by introducing new materials and methods for blades, nacelles, and towers. It addresses scaling challenges to reduce costs and risks, enabling efficient production of larger turbines. The project supports Europe's offshore wind deployment, powering over 8,500 Danish households annually and avoiding 140,385 tonnes of CO2e emissions over the first ten years.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">38</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">0</argument></grok:render>
