About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The PIVOT project optimizes the manufacturing and assembly of advanced offshore wind turbines through innovative designs, new materials, and processes for blades, nacelles, and towers, building on the previous HIPPOW project. It tackles scaling challenges to enhance efficiency, lower costs, and enable large-scale offshore wind deployment in Europe while aligning with the European Green Deal. Over its first ten years, the project will produce renewable electricity sufficient for over 8,500 average Danish households annually, avoiding approximately 140,385 tonnes of CO2 equivalent emissions.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">85</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">32</argument></grok:render>
