About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Power2Met project is a pioneering Danish initiative that has developed and operates a pilot plant in Aalborg for producing e-methanol using power-to-X technology. It utilizes renewable electricity to produce electrolytic hydrogen, which is combined with CO2 captured from biogas upgrading to synthesize green methanol. This demonstration project showcases a scalable solution for decarbonizing the chemicals and heavy transport sectors by providing a carbon-neutral liquid fuel alternative.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
