About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Project Cypress is a regional Direct Air Capture (DAC) hub in Louisiana, led by Battelle Memorial Institute in partnership with Climeworks and Heirloom Carbon Technologies. It will deploy multiple DAC facilities to remove over one million metric tons of CO2 annually from the atmosphere using advanced technologies powered by renewable energy. The captured CO2 will be permanently stored underground, contributing to climate goals while creating economic benefits and jobs in the region.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
