Reach Remote aims to transform subsea and offshore operations using advanced remote and autonomous Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), achieving up to 90% GHG emission reductions compared to traditional manned vessels through onshore control, electrification, digitalization, and robotics. This reduces operational costs, personnel risks, and environmental impacts while maintaining high-quality services in exploration, inspection, maintenance, repair, and survey activities. The project supports maritime decarbonization, potentially saving emissions equivalent to the annual energy use of 12,000 EU/EEA households, and promotes sustainable jobs and Europe's leadership in green maritime innovation.
