About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Red Rock Biofuels project in Lakeview, Oregon, employs Velocys' Fischer-Tropsch microchannel reactor technology combined with TCG Global's gasification for small-scale production of biofuels from waste woody biomass. Originally aimed at producing biodiesel and biokerosene, the project faced delays and was acquired by NEXT Renewable Fuels in 2023, shifting focus to renewable natural gas, diesel, and hydrogen production. This initiative supports forest management by utilizing slash piles that would otherwise contribute to CO2 emissions through burning.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
