About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The ReLieVe project aims to create an innovative end-to-end European-based integrated solution for closed-loop recycling of 50,000 tons of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries and production waste per year. It combines low-impact mechanical pretreatment with hydrometallurgical refining to produce battery-grade metal salts from black mass. The project is expected to achieve 100% relative GHG emission avoidance compared to primary production, with the plant planned for operation in 2027.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
