About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The RHYME Bavaria project is a joint initiative by Wacker Chemie AG and Linde GmbH to establish a production facility for green hydrogen and renewable methanol at Wacker's Burghausen site in Germany. It features a 20 MW electrolysis plant using renewable electricity to produce hydrogen, which is then combined with CO2 captured from industrial processes to synthesize methanol. This approach aims to create a sustainable alternative to conventional methanol production, potentially avoiding significant CO2 emissions.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
