About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

RUSAL's Krasnoyarsk Aluminium Smelter in Russia has achieved industrial-scale production of primary aluminum using inert anode technology, with each cell producing 1 ton of aluminum per day. Test deliveries of pilot batches commenced in the first half of 2021, and the technology continues to be refined to lower production costs. This innovative process replaces carbon anodes with inert materials, emitting oxygen instead of carbon dioxide and significantly reducing impurities in the aluminum.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
