Sinopec's East China Oilfield EOR Project is a small-scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) initiative in Dongtai, Jiangsu Province, China. It captures CO2 emissions from a nearby chemicals plant and injects them into the oilfield for enhanced oil recovery. Operational since 2005, the project has an annual CO2 capture capacity of 160,000 metric tons.
