About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The SOC4NH3 project develops and demonstrates a novel process for producing ammonia synthesis gas using solid oxide electrolysis cells powered by renewable energy, eliminating the need for traditional air separation units. It enables the direct conversion of water and nitrogen from air into syngas for ammonia production, promoting green ammonia as a carbon-free fuel and energy carrier. Led by Topsoe in partnership with Danish universities and energy companies, the initiative was funded by the Danish Energy Agency with approximately 4 million EUR.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
