About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The SHEEFT project by French startup HELIUP develops lightweight photovoltaic panels using ultra-thin glass for installation on flat rooftops with low-bearing capacities, enabling decentralized low-carbon energy production across Europe. The initiative focuses on industrial manufacturing with a 100 MWp annual capacity, achieving a 60% weight reduction compared to conventional systems without compromising performance. Over its first 10 years of operation, it is projected to generate 3.76 TWh of clean electricity and avoid over 360,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">57</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">25</argument></grok:render>
