About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The SOC4NH3 project develops and demonstrates a highly efficient technology for producing green ammonia using solid oxide electrolysis cells powered by renewable wind energy, water, and air, without the need for an air separation unit. Led by Topsoe in partnership with Aarhus University, Technical University of Denmark, Energinet, Vestas, Equinor, and Ørsted, it aims to advance a climate-friendly alternative to traditional ammonia production methods that rely on fossil fuels. The demonstration includes a 50 kW solid oxide electrolyzer for synthesis gas production and testing ammonia use in solid oxide fuel cells.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
