About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The South Texas DAC Hub, developed by 1PointFive in partnership with King Ranch, is a direct air capture project located in Kleberg County, Texas, designed to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and store it permanently underground. The initial facility aims to capture 500,000 metric tons of CO2 annually, with the potential to scale up to 30 million tons per year across the hub. It has received up to $500 million in U.S. Department of Energy funding to support development and community benefits.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
