About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The SPIRIT project, funded under the EU's Horizon Europe programme, aims to implement sustainable heat-upgrade technologies across industrial sites. At the Smurfit Kappa Morava paper plant in the Czech Republic, a high-temperature heat pump featuring a four-cylinder piston compressor will be installed to generate high-pressure steam at 6 bars and 157°C, delivering 0.7 MW of heat. This demonstration seeks to upgrade low-grade waste heat, reducing fossil fuel dependency and emissions in corrugated packaging production.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
