About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Terra CO2 Technology is a North America-based company that has developed OPUS, a supplementary cementitious material produced from silicate-based igneous rocks and unconsolidated sediments, serving as a low-carbon replacement for coal fly ash in cement production. This material enables up to 35% substitution in Portland cement while achieving required flexural strength, thereby avoiding increased emissions from higher clinker ratios. Following a USD 42 million funding round in 2022 and additional Series B investments totaling over USD 200 million by 2025, the company is scaling up with commercial plants targeting 250 kt of product annually.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
