About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Tianjin 168 Ring Furnace Intelligent Green and Low-Carbon Retrofit Project retrofits a ring-shaped furnace in Tianjin Pipe Corporation's 168mm hot-rolled seamless steel pipe production unit using intelligent oxyfuel combustion technology. Supported by China's national air pollution prevention and control fund, which accounts for half of the investment, the project maintains the factory's existing production capacity while enhancing combustion efficiency. It achieves significant environmental benefits, including annual savings of approximately 6 million cubic meters of natural gas, over 90% reduction in nitrogen oxide emissions, more than 70% decrease in flue gas emissions, and a 0.2 percentage point reduction in steel material loss.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
