About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The TO-SYN-FUEL project, funded by the EU's Horizon 2020 program, demonstrates the conversion of organic waste biomass, primarily sewage sludge, into advanced synthetic biofuels and green hydrogen. It employs an integrated process involving thermo-catalytic reforming (TCR®), hydrogen separation via pressure swing adsorption, and fuel upgrading to produce renewable diesel and kerosene that meet strict sustainability criteria under RED II. The pilot plant in Germany processes up to 500 kg/h of dried sludge, yielding approximately 450 kL/y of biofuels.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
