About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The GO4ZERO project aims to operate an innovative pollutant-free, carbon-negative clinker kiln at Holcim's Obourg plant in Belgium, using oxy-combustion and full-scale CCS. Flue gases will be concentrated, CO2 captured and purified, then transported via pipeline to the Antwerp@C hub for liquefaction and offshore storage in the North Sea. It will produce over 2.3 million tonnes of carbon-neutral cementitious materials annually, capturing around 1.1 million tonnes of CO2e per year.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
