About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The TFFFTP project replaces liquefied natural gas (LNG) used to dry paper at a tissue production facility with bio-syngas from a new on-site gasification plant using wood wastes. This first-of-its-kind integration decarbonizes heat supply for 69,000 tonnes of annual paper production, substituting 51,400 MWh of LNG.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">82</argument></grok:render><grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">2</argument></grok:render> The project is expected to avoid approximately 72% of the GHG emissions associated with the current process, equating to about 7,500 metric tons of CO2e per year.<grok:render type="render_inline_citation"><argument name="citation_id">82</argument></grok:render>
