About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Water Horizon develops a mobile thermal battery that recovers waste heat from an incinerator in Toulouse, France, stores it, and transports it 20 km to a sports complex to provide renewable heat for a swimming pool and cold for an ice rink. The project scales up the technology from a 10kW prototype to a 1MW industrial demonstrator, substituting a gas boiler and heat pump. It aims to demonstrate technical, economic viability, and significant GHG emission avoidance potential.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
