About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

Industrial Promotion Services (IPS), the industrial and infrastructure development arm of the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development, and Westgass Internasjonal have signed a Joint Development Agreement with the Government of Uganda to develop a green hydrogen-based fertilizer production facility. The project aims to produce 200 kt/y of fertilizer using electrolytic hydrogen produced with variable renewables from a 100MW local hydropower plant. This initiative will reduce Uganda's dependence on imported fertilizers and promote sustainable agriculture.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
