About this project
The description is as the source gives it.
The Yanchang Integrated CCS Project by Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum involves carbon capture at coal-to-chemical plants in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, China. The initial small-scale plant capturing 50,000 tonnes of CO2 per year has been operational since 2013, with subsequent expansions leading to a total operational capacity of approximately 300,000 tonnes per year by 2024. The captured CO2 is transported to the Jingbian oilfield for enhanced oil recovery using Rectisol acid gas removal technology.
Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
