About this project

The description is as the source gives it.

The Yara NEL Porsgrunn project is a pilot collaboration between Yara International and Nel Hydrogen to produce carbon-free hydrogen for fertilizer production using a 5 MW electrolyzer powered by renewable energy at Yara's Porsgrunn facility in Norway. The initiative aims to test and reduce costs of advanced water electrolysis technology, replacing fossil-based hydrogen in ammonia synthesis to lower emissions. Expected to commence operations in 2022, it forms part of Yara's efforts to achieve sustainable ammonia production.

Statuses, countries and reductions are as the public source states them, and may be out of date.
